Stone Lake Improvement Board
NOTICE: Stone Lake will be chemically treated for invasive weeds on Monday, May 13th, 2024.
The Village of Cassopolis established the Stone Lake Improvement Board implementing an aquatic plant control program with biologists from Progressive AE. A special assessment district was created to fund the removal and harvesting of the nuisance growth of exotic aquatic plants. Check out the documents below to see the progress that has been made so far.
Do not use the water for swimming until 5/14/2024.
Do not use the water for ornamentals or turf irrigation until 5/16/2024.
Do not use the water for domestic purposes or agriculture irrigation until 5/27/2024.
Do not use the water for livestock watering or similar purposes until 5/27/2024.
